What is Qigong?
Let's break it down into its different components.

Qi" (pronounced chee), means air, breath of life, or vital energy that flows through all things in the universe.

"Gong" (pronounced gung, as in lung) means the skill of working with, or cultivating, self-discipline and achievement.
So, Qigong is the skillful practice of applying life-force energy and learning to master it. This is the basis of all forms of Qigong from Martial to Medical.
