I am excited to announce that effective April 1st, 2008 that I have been named a new member of the board of directors for the Tamalpa Institute (TI). During this 3-year commitment, I will assist the other board and sub-committee members with the following tasks: promotion of the school, assist graduates in their home communities and improve existing systems of marketing, communication and outreach. I am looking forward to the challenges ahead
My first task will be as co-chair of the International Committee, which focuses on maintaining and increasing communication between all the TI graduates through the Tamalpa Institute Graduate Association (TIGA) on-line assistance website as well as looking for ways to improve this communication.
The board of directors consists of international graduates from the school community using their strengths for the betterment of the TI. I am honoured to be serving with representatives from all over the world as we strive to expand the reach of TI and it's focus of taking movement-based expressive arts education and therapy around the globe.
