Our bodies are very expressive instruments…from gestures to our physical posture. All these expressions tell a story about us, but are we listening? What are they trying to say anyway?
Come join in a fun, safe exploration of your expressive body using your own unique self-driven movements. We will allow our feet to guide us on a journey as we open to the authentic self. Our movements will be joined by chances to express ourselves through drawing, writing and spoken word. Please wear comfortable clothing, which allows ease of movement and bring a water bottle and journal, if you have one.
All adults (18+) are welcome with a particular focus to assist those interested in exploring movement/dance as a healing art. No experience is needed.

The Earth Run is at the heart of the Planetary Dance and is the inspiration of the legendary Anna Halprin. It is a moving mandala, a simple circle dance that everyone can do based on walking, running, and standing still in the four directions. Musicians are drummers who carry the heartbeat and stand in the center of three circles. The intention is to dance to give power to prayers and to make peace and renewal a reality in the lives of the participants and in the troubled world.
